when the rozmans went for a vacation-part 1

how many days before 2008 becomes 2009? hehe..x sabar sungguh nak masuk new yr, coz i still have another 15 days of annual leave surprised? tell me 'bt that..tot of using & spending it this yr, but come to think of it..neay...better keep it for some othr good reasons..(p/s: angah..if u were to read this entry, u knw what i mean!) as most of u guys knw, we went for a long, really, really long holiday this time with going back to shah alam, & spent a nite there (with some shopping kat JJ bukit raja..hehe & met yayang-the ever dearest niece) & the next day sped off to Cameron highlands ( read my confession: I'VE NEVER BEEN TO THAT PLACE thru'out my life!!) felt in love with the strawberry tea & scone ( we were really mat-sallehs wanna be!) the next day went thru a long-but-interested-yet-adventurous journey back to kelantan ...ODW back to our nest, we stopped at Ipoh and spent a nite at Syuen Hotel & the lil' one had a tremendously good time with his long-lost bro @ iskandar aiman this didn't stop here, we made another quick stop at Alor Gajah to pay his uncle a visit, had dinner there and finally the purple machine drove us back to jementah..phuuiihhh! this is not the best part, the best part is..both mommy & lil' one were down with flu & slight fever, leaving all the bags, dirty laundry with him! Ya Allah, kesian sungguh..kami trus tido bila sampai umah at around 11 pm, & i had no idea what time the big boy slept! i only felt ok a bit yesterday (we went back on friday nite) so today, went back to the office (hanya utk chck mails & brought back all the office work hehe) balik umah utk lipat baju yg mmg dah setambun & sampai dah tak nampak hubby sendri! as i am posting this entry, my two boys r sound asleep, especially the lil' one cz dia x tido ptg td ( starting today, we got him a new babysitter, the recent one had to care for her teribbly sick FIL) my big boy? lost in his endless dreams of his V500 (Vulcan 500) for this entry, lemme cherish u wt pix frm Cameron Highlands

i'm pretty sure that upon readin' the title, one must have gotten the idea that the three of us went for an xtravaganza brkfast at some elegant restaurant..presentin'...umar and his fascination wt straws..haha

he wz a bit reluctant to go, but after seeing his son guling2 boring saturday morning tu, walid pon said.."ok..off we go to MCD!!!" yeah! so, he had this, brkfast set no 5..mmg sedap pon..

i had this..jaga bdn? not really, but the fact that 1/2 of mommy's portion has to go to the lil' monster, so i got to have something that will not depress his cute tummy

and of course, both of us r coffee maniac, so these r ours..

i'm back..after almost 3 weeks leavin' the bloggin' xtivity behind..anyway..i just finished reading a malay storybook, by faisal tehrani "tunggu teduh dulu"..x worry, i'm not gonna write the synopsis of this book, rather its more on "what i think of this book"..
anyway, a colleague of mine once asked me, is it tru that this novel is much better than ayat2 cinta?..emmm. its difficult u see..if i were to say that faisal's piece is better than the other, one might say that i x give a chance to foreign writers to show their talents, on the other hand, if i were to say that ayat2 cinta is better than faisal's, then i might be labelled as not posssessing a sense of belongingness..emmm..what say u?
lemme start wt ayat2 cinta, in which the 1st romantic novel that he bought 4 me (wink!)..upon finishing the story, my soul cried for more novels wt similar plot..my heart really felt for this novel, for it has shown the true meaning of being in love according to the Islamic rules it's more on showin u the path for tru happiness wt ur loved ones in marriages and that once u've taken the marriage vow, the vow will be wt u rite till the end of ur lives and insyaAllah, u'll be together wt ur loves ones in the HereAfter world.

moments of terror

yesterday marked the foolishness in me..knw what... i subconsciously gave umar the car key, while he wz playin wt the steering, while i went out to unlock the gate..and suddenly i heard.."tiung,tiung..!" Ya Allah, anakku terkunci dlm kereta sorang2..

dahle another set of key left in my handbag, which happened to be at the back seat! masa tu, klu toreh daging pipiku yg montel ini, confirm x kuar red blood ( blue blood adalah!) 4 few seconds, i x think of anything, i could x even squeeze my own hands! that wz the first time & ever i confronted that kind of situation..

nasib baik air cond baru turned off, so it wz quite ok in the car + cuaca pon not that hot & humid ( ptg..almost maghrib dah masa tu..!)

i felt like sreaming, tp kena control sbb kot2 org nampak, sure pak polisi dtg..so, i slowly pointed to umar the alarm, and slowly taught him to push the blue button..Ya Allah..anakku ini mmg super-cheecky (cam mama awie ckp) kid, dia bleh senyum simpul sambil gelak2..sabar je...i did that for 3, 4 times & he wz almost pushed the button, but whenever his index finger wz abt the reach that button, he smiled at me ( sure dia fening kepala sbb mommy dia cam org hilang akal demonstrating to him on how & which button to push..!) i think i finally fully utilized the TPR ( Total Physical Response) theory on how to teach toodlers to follow ur orders.. huh, x sia2 blajo 5 + 3 yrs..

walid plak ODW frm segamat, baru antar his vulcan to the mechanics sbb ade part yg x satisfy his eyes..huhu..camne nak call ni, HP pon dlm tas tgn..as I wz abt to leave him alone, and ran back to the house to make an emergency call to walid, i suddenly heard "tiung, tiung"..as fast as the lightning strikes, i ran back to the car, open all four doors and grinned (nanny dah pesan, klu anak buat salah jgn marah trus, senyum dulu) and he quickly gave me back the car key..AlhamdulliLAH..

when he reached home, i told him this..so this is his advice (to all mommies out ter..)

1. if u need to leave ur kids n the car ( while u unlock the gate) make sure that u ROLL DOWN the driver's window

2. plz make sure that u switch the gear to P ( for auto) & pull up the handbrake

BUT ABOVE ALL, never, ever leave ur kids unattended in the car..

so mlm td, after magrhib prayer, walid suruh buat sujud syukur..syukur, syukur...sigh..uhhhhhh

Presentation/s - B3P1

NOTE : THIS ENTRY IS WRITTEN FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF BEL LECTURER @ PN DERWINA (not as a LATE BLOOMER!)

we only have few more days b4 the classes r over (officially!), thus, everyone is running here & there, trying to accomplish mission/s within the stipulated time and the same goes to me & my students last thursday, B3P1 had theirs @ presentation skills it was well-delivered (wink!wink!), with each one of them prepared visible & tangible & understandable slides! i must congratulate them for being able to overcome their biggest fear in life ; speaking in PUBLIC! i have witnessed tremendous effort by everyone (including the class rep!) in preparing the speeches, outlines & slides they even hunted me after office hour! we have 31 students, with 4 smaller groups (so that we can monitor and work closely wt each other) & i must say that, i really enjoy working with young blood ( la..mcm mrs dracula plak!) since they're very creative in finding interesting & researchable topics some said that the time given is x enough! well, one advice for these people : time will NEVER wait for you, you gotta hunt them down! the task was assigned to them before the hari raya break, and the class rep took the effort in assigning them their turn by drawing lot (still some say.."tak adil" duh!) enjoy the pix!

being the 1st name in the class, he volunteered himself as the 1st presentor! this guy really improved; from holdin' onto the script to a scriptless presentation good work! any1 curious abt LUPUS? well , this girl knows everything abt it, seems everything is at her fingertips!

as i've mentioned in older posts, we went back to jb for the holly celebration, and i must admit it wz a soul-cleansin celebration ter (apa taknye.abah & mak plus the 3 of us je!) klakar giler..spashly during the cooking time, other families may have this chaos and yelling here & ter, but x for us! mak actually asked me to sambung my shopping spree kat kotaraya, city square or her all time fav @ angsana! bleh? i think she wanted to spend some time alone wt the lil' monster..! as for abah, he is energetic all the time & some time i do wonder where did he get all the energy from! as for the lil' one, havin jolly time wt his uncle saiful (who is only 7 yrs old!), aunty bila & aunty meen (these two gurls are my cousins, & for that they r lil' monster's aunties) mmg ini budak betul2 balik kpg! check out these pix

i read this to him during our dating moments, & he wz so surprised to hear this & he said that he never tot that i could write such a wonderful poem & he felt really appreciated , so in luv wt me & why am i publishin this on my blog? sbb...sob!sob! he x gettin better today :( i called home, & asked & he said that his joints are gettin aching, the red spots are visible on his face & back...& his voice...wa!wa!makin teruk! i got class till 4pm, wt my bel 422 (report writing) & really x leave early sbb they've to send the reports 2gther wt the articles + last consultation b4 their presentation next wk! patheticnye! + my tesl class tis wk nak tgk a short televonella on virgina woolf..lil' monster ? mlm td he vomiited on the x-so-newly-changed bedsheet! nasib baik x kena, only the quills, but still i had to do laundry last nite!

i think tis is one of "those" moments that test my ability + endurance + patience as a wife, mommy and working lady..so far, doin ok, eventhough our "nest" is up side down

& how i wish for miracles to really strike me..:)

it's a turbulence period o'er here..
lil' monster still down wt coughin, x get any better..getting worse adalah wt last nite he woke up at around 4am (he tot that it is still ramadhan time! nak bgn sahur le tu!) it turned out that he x sleep, disturbed by his coughin, & nw he got phlegm kesian sgt sbb he wz tryin his best to spit it out, but he x yet he tried...i waited patiently by his side, wt his white towel ( since i just changed the bedsheet 2 days b4 raya) & all he could do wz grinnin..alamak ini budak..i felt like cryin..dia bleh tersengih plak! gave him his milk, he laid down on my tummy, and soon he dozed off..
the above part x the best part...
yesterday when i left home 4 work, walid wz complainin that his joints were achin, + his face has turned red + vomittin...& when i got home around 6.30pm, makin teruk..i just had the feeling that he wz havin this chikungnyea fever @ viral fever..drove him (first time i drove wt him at the backseat! hehe!) when we arrived at the clinic, nasib baik x that many people, so we waited around 10 mins, then he wz called..1st glanced pon doc already knew that it is THAT fever!
lil' monster wz kinda alert and only observed when walid was tiptoe-ing..& tiba2 je he took walid's hand & walked hand-in-hand wt him..alahai swueet!
so nw..i got to look after two sick heroes at home..alice? diakan buah hati walid..so, she's at home, watchin o'er walid 4 me
tu x best sgt..tis mornin..my class at 10am..i wz supposed to have a mass lecture for Reading..to my surprise..only ONE class turned up! lg satu tu..the class rep actually told his fellow classmates that this morning class is cancelled! OMG! kids nwadays!
so i guess my monday blues would probably be "the whole wk" blues

Big Ben

most of my friends keep on askin, what do u have in sgmat? apart frm the ever-famous durian sgmat, followed by the biggest flood in history in late 2006..well, treat this as the 1st session of gettin to knw sgmat

the above Big Ben is situated at the dataran sgmt (yup..we do have 1..!newly built, i think abt 2 yrs ago) this is where the merdeka yearly celebration be held..funny, ater 7 yrs of melt-potting in jementah, that nite wz the 1st time we went there..hehe actually, we sent atok who is driving my wira (sob!sob! sbb kena kongsi keter wt walid!) back to jhr we wanted to leave the car here, but neay...!x a brilliant idea so bwkle lil monster ni to play around at the dataran i must admit it wz rather am njoyable time since there wasnt any single soul there! baguih btol!

told yer..lil monster really x get enuf of fury walking creature! he wz bz chasing his own shadow, when he saw walid feeding this unknown cat! this is a female cat, and she's preggy! thus, officially, walid named her "BedahLova" @ for her high curiosity! yip!yip!hurray!
